New Delhi, Airport

At present I am sitting at the IGI airport at New Delhi. Below is my description of the air port:
The IGI (Indira Gandhi International) Airport:

I reached the airport at around 7:45 AM to catch a flight at 9 AM to Trivandrum. As the car entered the airport I could see several news channel cars standing around the airport. Papa commented “lagta hain koi bahut bada mantri aa raha hain”. Unfortunately it was the departure terminal so one could go out from here rather coming in. Soon the car stopped and we took our baggage. We took everything inside the airport & got the x-ray done for check in baggage. Further we went to collect the boarding pass & deposit the check in baggage. We were astonished to see a long line of people. Papa went to do the job. My mind was at the CCD (Café Coffee Day) counter at the airport. As I got a chance I went to CCD to enjoy a cup of coffee. I took the coffee and a corn for the three of us. We came and sat. Sitting there was fun but to see the crowd was giving a straight indication about the mismanagement from the airport staff. Suddenly papa busted that the ground staff is on strike today because of which the news channel cars were there to cover the thing. We soon finished off with the coffee & corn. Further moved to the security check in gate. We were asked to pass our handbags through another x-ray machine. As we passed our handbags and our self through the check. A voice came “they are so casual” oh that was ma. I guess she does not realize that we are in India. Well we sat on some thing like a chair cum sofa. Looking around some flat TV’s broadcasting that a number of flights are getting cancelled or being delayed. We were ready to face that our flight will be delayed. Voices started coming “For your kind attention…. Flight ----- has been delayed/ had been canceled….. we deeply regret the inconvenience caused to the passengers.” I was looking around and noticed some difference in the Indain Airlines & Kingfisher announcement systems. It was that kingfisher was offering coffee or tea where as Indian airlines was not. Now this it the difference between private and public. Another difference for commerce students ha ha ha. Well now we heard “IC 167 to Mumbai & Trevendrum has been delayed and is expected to depart at 9:45 AM. I thought to have another cup of coffee. Ma accompanied me for the same. We both had coffee and kept waiting. I started writing to cut the time. In a short while papa said “chalo! Chalo!” I saved the file I was writing and went to go to the aircraft. I came to the aircraft and started to complete what you are reading and here I finish now with a hope to reach Trivandrum with no more further delay.

I know with Indian system we can only hope we can not be confirmed of any thing.
